2017 Award Ceremony

Truro and Penwith College is hosting the 2017 Cornwall Apprenticeship Awards in association with GetMyFirstJob on 17th November in the Gannel Building at Truro College.

The Cornwall Apprenticeship Awards are a celebration of individual and business achievement in Apprenticeship training. This prestigious event will showcase amazing talent and energy, contributing to the current and future strength of Cornwall's local companies.

Guests will be treated to live music from Truro and Penwith College students at a prosecco reception from 7pm, followed by dinner prepared by students from the College's Rick Stein Academy, who will be supported in the kitchen by Nick Evans from the Rick Stein Cookery School.

Special guests Holly Day and Neil Caddy from Pirate FM will host the evening, and announce the winners and highly commended nominees for all fifteen categories. 

Dress code for the evening is black tie or lounge suits and cocktail dresses.

BUY TICKETS 

A password will be needed to access ticket sales before 2nd October so that all shortlisted nominees have an opportunity to bring a guest to the evening. From the 2nd October tickets will go on general sale and a password will not be required.

Dinner will be prepared and served by Apprentices from the Rick Stein Academy at Truro and Penwith College, supported by Mark Lewin (Truro & Penwith College), Tony Duce (Truro and Penwith College & Rick Stein Group) and Nick Evans (Rick Steins Cookery School).

Starters and main course dishes have been inspired by Rick Stein’s Long Weekends, French Odyssey, Spain and India recipes.
