The Nursery

College Nursery Provision

Truro College has nursery facilities situated on the Gloweth Campus in Chyvelah House.

The Nursery has OFSTED Registration and government nursery funding is available for three to
four year olds, meeting specific criteria.

Children aged from birth to five years can be given full, part or sessional care provision.
Priority is given to students who require places and then to staff and the general public.

The Nursery is open from 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday.
The nursery provides a challenging, caring and stimulating environment for children
between the ages of 0 to 8 years old with holiday provision available for children up to
eight years of age out of term time.
The cost of childcare is £4.00 per hour for under 2 year olds and £3.50 per hour for
children 2 and over.

The Nursery is staffed by a Manager, two Assistant Managers and full/ part time
Childcare Workers. All staff are qualified to at least level 3 in childcare and education.

The nursery works in complete partnership with parents and fulfills the requirements of the EYFS 2007.
