This new qualification is an ideal and essential qualification for all those already involved in the delivery of ESOL in the UK.
It is a practical course which focuses on improving and developing the subject-specific teaching skills of those practitioners working in the ESOL sector. During the course participants will complete 2 core modules that will examine the practical and theoretical aspects of teaching ESOL.
Assessment will be based on successful completion of a portfolio which will include a number of written assignments.
In order to complete this qualification participants will need to have a minimum of 75 hours of teaching practice during the course with at least 2 different groups of students.
Participants should also have an existing teaching qualification at Level 3 or above.
