Oxygen Provider
The Divers Alert Network (DAN) Oxygen First Aid Course was designed to
educate divers and non-divers about oxygen and its uses in first aid.
The objectives of the course are: To be able to recognize signs and
symptoms of diving emergencies and those that requires oxygen first aid,
Understanding the benefits of oxygen, and an introduction to oxygen
equipment (including the DAN Oxygen Unit).
Students will assess and evaluate the condition of a "victim" and then
assemble, deploy, and administer oxygen to the "victim" in a "Real Life"
scenario.
It will enable you to buy and fill oxygen equipment for the use of
diving emergencies.
Certification: On successful completion of the course you will be
certified as a DAN Oxygen Provider.
Retraining: It is recommended that retraining be taken within 2 years.
